We caught the early bus to Chiang Rai, then another to Chiang Khong! You can tell how thrilled we are to be on a bus again!

We enjoyed watching the Loi Kathong festival. Have you seen "Tangled", the disney movie? Well, in the end, where they release all those lanturns? Thats what they do here! So we got to watch and enjoy the celebration!
So many colorful lanterns everywhere! And fireworks being set off my ALL of the kids, even the 3 year olds! It would be soooooo illegal in Canada!

So there you have our last night in Thailand (for a month or so).
The next morning we caught the slow boat from Huay Xai to Laung Prabang!
